What are you facing today—grief, loneliness, pain, uncertainty? If you are in what feels like a wilderness and are unsure of when you will reach the other side of a difficult season, we want to encourage you! God is right there with you, He has not left you alone for one second.
We are not promised a perfect life without pain. When heartbreak, loss, or disappointments happen, we get to run into the arms of our Heavenly Father. If you feel overwhelmed with all that the wilderness season brings, give your burdens to our God.
"If you are tired from carrying heavy burdens, come to Me and I will give you rest." -Matthew 11:28 (CEV)
We can safely process all of our emotions in His presence. Our gracious God is the only One able to give us joy on the other side of our mourning. He is constantly working all things together for GOOD!
Scripture is filled with verse after verse on the faithfulness and nearness of our Heavenly Father! No matter our circumstance, we can stand firm on the promises of God. These are verses you can hold onto and declare over your situation:
1. Psalm 23:4
Even though I walk through the [sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort and console me. (AMP)
2. Psalm 34:18
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. (ESV)
3. Isaiah 26:3
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. (ESV)
4. John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.] (AMP)
5. Psalm 62:5-6
For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. (ESV)
6. Deuteronomy 31:8
Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; He will neither fail you nor abandon you. (NLT)
7. Isaiah 41:10
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with My victorious right hand. (NLT)
8. Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (AMP)
When you have cried all your tears and don’t have any words left to pray—stand and declare Psalm 27:13 out loud until your soul believes it! God is good and you WILL see His goodness in your situation!
9. Psalm 27:13-14
I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. (NIV)
Cling onto HOPE! God is not finished with you yet!
10. Philippians 1:6
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. (NLT)
11. Romans 8:28
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose. (ESV)
