Why Do We Worship?

What’s going on in your world today? Family drama, career changes, health challenges, sudden loss—we all have circumstances that try to pull at our minds and hearts. In these moments, there is one solution—JESUS! When we fix our eyes on our Savior, we experience a peace that passes all understanding. He calms our world!

Worship does not guarantee a change in our immediate circumstances. But when we give God all glory and honor—our perspective shifts and our hearts are transformed. He is our source, and in Him we find all that we need to make it through any challenge.

“You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

– Psalm 16:11

A beautiful thing about worship is that it is not limited to a corporate setting—we can offer our praise to God anytime and anyplace! This week, we are talking about how to pursue a life of worship!

Let's set aside more time this week to pause and acknowledge God’s presence in our lives with an open heart and worship Him for who He is—Holy, Righteous, Just, Loving, Merciful, and Mighty. May the posture of our hearts always be ready to give Him praise, and through the fruit of His Spirit, may we be His hands and feet to a lost and broken world.

“He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what He has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.” — Psalm 40:3 (NLT)
