Kathy Hayes started in ministry at a young age, traveling throughout the U.S. and abroad singing and evangelizing. Her family group, The Singing Parkers, recorded several albums during this time. In 1973 Kathy married Mike Hayes and joined him in establishing a wide-spread evangelistic ministry.
In 1976, after the birth of their first child, Mike and Kathy settled in Carrollton, Texas, and founded what is now Covenant Church. Covenant Church now has six campus locations with a congregation of more than 10,000 in weekend worship. Kathy has continued to serve as cofounder and Senior Pastor of Covenant Church for over thirty-five years. Kathy is frequently invited to speak at conferences, both locally and nationally, and is a true spiritual mentor to women in the Body of Christ.
