Sharon Hodde Miller is a best-selling author, pastor, and church planter who leads Bright City Church in Durham, NC with her husband, Ike. In addition to earning her M.Div from Duke Divinity School, and her PhD from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Sharon and Ike planted their church in 2018 and co-lead together. Sharon is also the author of three books--her most recent being The Cost of Control: Why We Crave It, The Anxiety It Gives Us, And The Real Power God Promises--and she travels the country speaking each year.
Sharon is a mom of three young children, age 10, 8, and 5. Second to Jesus, her family is her absolute greatest joy!
