Tina Campbell is a wife, a mother, a multiple award-winning soloist, multi-Grammy® winning recording artist, music producer and executive, author, WE tv original series star, creator, executive producer for six seasons of the hit series Mary Mary which recently concluded in 2017. And along with husband Teddy, Tina co-stars in her own web series 10 Minutes with Teddy and Tina and they have a companion blog simply titled Teddy and Tina’s Blog. Along with sister Erica, she is one-half of the iconic Gospel duo, Mary Mary.
In 2015, Tina independently released her first ever solo album “It’s Personal,” garnering an NAACP Image Award, along with a powerful book of prayers entitled “I Need A Day to Pray.”
She returned with a new solo album in September of 2017, entitled “It’s Still Personal”. The album includes the Grammy®-nominated, the heartfelt and powerful ballad “Too Hard Not To,” a song about the necessity of forgiveness. Tina has been nominated for three 2018 Stellar Awards.
Although known as a highly accomplished and skilled gospel singer and performer for nearly two decades, many have come to know Tina, in more recent years, as a strong woman of faith as she, publicly, triumphed through many of life’s challenges. She says “I am honored that God has allowed my tests to become testimonies, while the whole world stands back and marvels at his unparalleled ability to make everything in my life better than it was before. I am an expression of God’s glory. And that alone is the sole reason for and the greatest part of my existence.”
